What are the pro tips, tricks to make Vegetable Jalfrezi?
In veg jalfrezi, try to use large sizes of veggies. The large bite-sized vegetables make the best tasting jalfrezi.
In this stir fry dish, some of the vegetables can go raw while others need a bit of cooking. The chunkier vegetables like cauliflower and baby corn take some time to cook while other veggies like bell peppers, french beans, mushrooms, and peas cook faster. This is a tangy curry. White vinegar, tomato puree and tomato ketchup are added for tangy and mildly sweet flavours. So it is highly recommended that you don’t skip any of those.
Jalfrezi is a semi-dry side dish. But if you want a gravy dish, then you can add about ½ cup of water or vegetable stock to this curry along with all the vegetables.
