Welcome to Monday Country! Happy Monday buddies.
My motto for today is ‘Share The Wonder’. So welcome to Monday Country! Hehehe. 🙂
Monday can be a funday too if there is a puff pastry. What do you think?
And that’s why today on this Monday I have some Extra Flakey ‘4-Ingredient Cheesy Garlicky Pesto Puff Pastry Swirls’ to share with you all.
To continue my motto, here are 5 good things about any Monday.
- Monday works like a charm for anything new.
- Monday gives you strength to do nice things.
- Monday is a leap forward towards a better future.
- Monday makes you smile.
- Monday. It’s the first day after the weekend. So you can have it your way.
And that is the joy of a Monday.
YAYY! I can talk endlessly about Mondays, because they make me feel so good. Seems like this Monday mania is taking over me today. Hehehe. Sometimes, being a little maniac is just fun too. 😉
Now let’s talk about these swirls. I think these Swirls may just be the bestest and the simplest thing I have shared in a while. Or may be super simplest and easiest thing ever.
These are literally SO simple. To make them you just need some puff pastry, basil pesto, garlic powder and mozzarella cheese. I promise that these 3 basic ingredients make these swirls shine, literally.
And they are kind of pretty too. A delicious and gorgeous looking puff. It’s super easy + super quick. And it doesn’t need any expertise + it includes only 4 ingredients. So that means this is a perfect appetizer for small gatherings and parties. Your guests would love to munch on these little swirls.
So whenever you have guests coming over for a dinner, make these bites, and it’s gonna be a good dinner night. 🙂
How did I get the idea of making these bites for the first time?
Some days are really tiring and make us realize that there isn’t anything for dinner and you have to move your body to make something.
Well, this recipe was invented on such a busy and tiring day. The fridge was almost empty because I did not go for grocery shopping for a few days. Then I looked there for some quick solution. And then I saw these 4 ingredients.
I love puff pastry and pesto as such. But haven’t tasted the combo. I knew that to have these two awesome things together = double awesomeness. So last year I made my very own pesto puff pastries. And they were just divine. I said to myself, “what took you so long to try this heavenly combo?” And there I go.
But after that, whenever I have puff pastry sheets, pesto and some cheese I know what I am gonna be making with those.
And that is where these cute little 4-ingredient swirls come in. And yeah, we all love easy and delicious recipes. They are always so good.
And since it has everyone’s favorite ingredients, so I make it as an appetizer for my guests without even a single thought. Everybody just love these swirls. But there is still something to be said about classic pesto puff pastry swirls. My assumptions have never gone wrong with these baby bites. Yes, it never fails.
Really, these are one of my favorite bites. I just love the combo of pesto, mozzarella cheese and garlic. PLUS, what could be better than a baked, warm and flakey, buttery pesto puff pastry. Nothing.
Honestly, they’re the ultimate snack, brunch or appetizers. You really need to make them. You will love these. So make this for the sake of humanity. Oops! Make this for the sake of your tastebuds! 🙂
There is cheese and flakey puff pastry, everyone’s favorite pesto, and garlic. Mmmmm, super awesome. Could there be anything more general public friendly dish? I think this is it.
- Everyone loves mozzarella cheese.
- Everyone loves puff pastry.
- Everyone loves pesto.
- Everyone love garlic.
So, let’s declare this one of the most general public friendly dishes.
These swirls are aromatic and totally delicious! A nicely mixed aroma of garlic and pesto. Oh! There is nothing better when the smell comes out of the kitchen while these beauties are getting out of the oven.
And a little confession I have to make here. I just can’t control the temptations of having these flaky, buttery, flaky swirl to melt in my mouth. Really, I can’t even resist till they are served. So I start eating right away from the baking tray. And end up eating too many of these bites myself.
They are just so so GOOD.
I didn’t want these to literally just be pesto and puff pastries. I wanted them to be cheesy and super flavorful. So I went with some cheese and garlic.
Aren’t they just so cute? Mini-treats mean you get more than one, and we all love that. I think this is pure awesomeness. Love them!
