Serving Suggestion

This stuffed dates recipe is delicious when served chilled or at room temperature. The soft and velvety texture of dates pairs well with melty cream cheese orange and cranberry filling. They taste a tad more indulgent this way.

FAQ

Vegan Cream Cheese Stuffed dates

To make a vegan version of cream cheese stuffed dates you need to swap regular cream cheese with vegan cream cheese and replace honey with date syrup or maple syrup. The rest of the recipe will be the same.

What dates can be used to make stuffed dates?

For making stuffed dates you can use any dates that are soft, plump, and have a rich caramel taste. They taste so good with the cream cheese stuffing and with soft dates, it is easier to remove dates if using regular dates.

What nuts can be used for Cream Cheese Stuffed Dates?

Dates and nuts are best buddies, so you can basically use any nuts of like. I personally like to use a variety of nuts such as walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, and cashews for added texture and color.

Which cream cheese should you use?

For making stuffed dates you can use both light or regular cream cheese. They both taste good here. You can even use vegan cream cheese here.
