Baked Stuffed Dates

If you are into warm and baked dates, then you can bake these cream cheese dates in a preheated oven or air-fryer at 350°F/175°C for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the dates have warmed through and the cheese has changed some color.

Topping Suggestions

If you are not into nuts then you can also use other toppings such as fruits, berries, or flowers. Other toppings that taste so good in these cream cheese stuffed dates are dried strawberries, pomegranate arils, dried raspberries, dried rose petals, coconut flakes, or chocolate shavings.

Serving Suggestion

This stuffed dates recipe is delicious when served chilled or at room temperature. The soft and velvety texture of dates pairs well with melty cream cheese orange and cranberry filling. They taste a tad more indulgent this way.

Tips, and tricks to make the best tasting Cream Cheese Stuffed Dates

  1. Use the freshest and most organic ingredients to make the most delicious cream cheese stuffed dates.

  2. Date kabobs – You can also make date kabobs by threading stuffed peaches into a skewer.

  3. Drizzle – I have drizzled dates with honey, you can also drizzle them with some melted chocolate.

  4. Dates – Pitted or unpitted both types of dates work here. I have used unpitted dates, but you can also use pitted days to save time.

FAQ

Vegan Cream Cheese Stuffed dates

To make a vegan version of cream cheese stuffed dates you need to swap regular cream cheese with vegan cream cheese and replace honey with date syrup or maple syrup. The rest of the recipe will be the same.

What dates can be used to make stuffed dates?

For making stuffed dates you can use any dates that are soft, plump, and have a rich caramel taste. They taste so good with the cream cheese stuffing and with soft dates, it is easier to remove dates if using regular dates.

What nuts can be used for Cream Cheese Stuffed Dates?

Dates and nuts are best buddies, so you can basically use any nuts of like. I personally like to use a variety of nuts such as walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, and cashews for added texture and color.

Which cream cheese should you use?

For making stuffed dates you can use both light or regular cream cheese. They both taste good here. You can even use vegan cream cheese here.
