We are officially into the first week of December! Yeah!!!! Happy First week of December to you guys.
As this is a holiday season, so we all need a LOT of good food. And these cold and cozy winter nights call for a lot of baked goodies.
Winter and baking — that’s the pure holiday spirit.
I am fully forced and completely lost in holiday spirit. And that’s why I have an awesome treat for you all. It’s ‘Salty-Sweet Whole Wheat Onion Crackers’.
So are you ready to enjoy some breathtaking baked goodies??
Take out your duvet, put on your warm socks, bring on a glass of hot chocolate and lots of these Salty-Sweet Crackers, turn on your favorite movie and you are all set for a winter-y movie night.
They’re actually very simple. Everything gets made in one bowl, then you roll cut and bake. Take a bite, and your mouth is full of sweet-salty onion goodness. That’s the way to do it.
Oh and these are best when served with a steaming hot cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. A nice warm glass of milk would also go well. YUM.
See, I could go on and on about these melt in mouth crackers.
Begin by making dough. Add all the spices, flour, oil, salt + sugar and make a stiff dough. Roll the dough and cut into desired shapes. Brush with oil and bake. Now wait for these crackers to come out of the oven, and meanwhile you can enjoy the fantastic aroma coming out of your kitchen. And there are high chances that your neighbours might want to join you, because they wouldn’t be able to resist the baking aroma. So make sure to bake a large batch of crackers, or bake these when they are not at home! 😉
If I were you, I would have baked so many crackers and gifted them to my neighbours, which I did actually. I gifted them to one of my neighbours and they just ADORED these. Since my very sweet neighbour was asking about the recipe, so here you go lady 🙂
I can not think out of the holiday season at this moment. And when you are all in the holiday mood, these crackers are perfect little treats to celebrate. You can surely see that I am currently obsessed with this snack. But they are so so delish that I can’t stop thinking about these! 🙂
These crackers are deeply crispy and crunchy. They are somethings you will simply be unwilling to resist. For these crackers I added sugar, but just a little bit. The little sweetness from sugar beautifully compliments the savoury flavour.
As I already told you that they’re perfect for gifting — I bet nothing can beat a homemade baked good. And they are exemplary for parties and get-togethers as well.
Actually, they don’t need any occasion, because they are damn simple and super delicious. You can bake these whenever your heart desires. And you sure can make these to treat yourself. Seriously, I like to make them for myself whenever possible.
So let’s get started without any further delay!!! 🙂
