Well, if you ask me, I am in awesome mood. And if you are also in the same mood, together we can call it a stunning day. What say? 🙂
I would love to share some extra awesome today, as I am in full feeling of awesomeness.
And the recipe I am sharing today is based upon my 5 S healthy philosophy.
What are these 5 S’s you might want to know. So let me tell you more about this.
The name of this awesome salad is Summer Berry Salad With Salted Peanuts and Walnuts.
This is a Salad. A Summer salad. Yeaahhh! A summer salad in summer. 🙂
Mmmmmmm, how does that sound to you? For me it’s actually wonderful. I mean it has my favorite berries, and it’s ready in 5 minutes. Thus, I love it so much more.
This is a perfect dish for those days when we are really in a hurry. It’s filler yet light on the stomach.
Oh god! I got distracted. Why didn’t you stop me? You are my friends, you should have done that.
Alright, no more distractions. Coming to the point.
Okay! I was telling about my 5 S philosophy. This Summer Berry Salad fits well in my 5 S healthy philosophy.
Because, it has my favorite 5 S’s.
This has Strawberries.
This is perfect to Savor in summer.
This is Spicy.
This is Salty.
This is Sweet.
So it has all these 5 S’s, I would need for my 5 S healthy philosophy. 🙂
Is there any summer without berries? No way! All you need are some (well lots) delicious fresh berries. 🙂
I love strawberries, so I am clearly obsessed with this salad.
Delicious strawberries are at every grocery shop these days. And I think everyone is going strawberry crazy at this time of the year. Thank god, I am not alone here! 😉
We all love our summer meals. And why not? They are full of flavor and deliciousness!
This salad is sweet, but not too sweet. This comes with a perfect blend of yummy flavors from the burst of strawberries, a bit of leafy green from the lettuce, some nutty crunch from the walnuts and peanuts.
This salad would make a perfect lunch or an elegant brunch. And this is even perfect for takeaway lunches. Just add the dressing on before you eat it so that the lettuce stays nice and crisp. 🙂
And as stated earlier, there is another plus with this salad here — it suits well in my 5 S healthy philosophy.
I can say that this is a perfect gluten free Wednesday meal. Who wouldn’t love to have this? So cheers to this salad full of 5 S’s.
I seriously can’t get enough of these gorgeous berries, so I eat them as much as I can! And there’s no such thing as ‘eating too many berries’ in my dictionary! 🙂
This classic salad is super quick, healthy and makes an elegant meal.
Simply looking at this salad bowl makes me feel so good. And of course it has all the deliciousness which we always look in our food. All in all, this is an exemplary food for eyes, tongue and stomach! This really is the best part.
No one can deny that strawberries and balsamic dressing are a classic pairing. Basically, it has everything you need in a summer salad.
So, go for it, and if you like it, then make it once, twice, thrice ……. many more times! 🙂
Whatever the reason is, I am on a HUGE kick of having strawberries in my meal. No doubts for me at all — I am very much enjoying it.

- lettuce, roughly chopped - 2 packs
- sliced fresh strawberries, for topping
- handful walnuts
- handful roasted peanuts
- brazil nuts - 5-6
- salt and pepper
- balsamic dressing - 3-4 tbsp
- fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered or sliced - 17-18
- thinly sliced red onion - ½
- In large bowl, toss, lettuce, strawberries, onion, and salt, pepper with dressing.
- Sprinkle walnut, brazil nuts, peanut and drizzle some more dressing. Serve immediately.
