Weekend calling: Somehow it’s already Thursday. And does that mean that weekend is almost here? Woah! Happy weekend guys! 🙂
So how about some deliciously sinful shake for today? Great idea, ain’t it?
Birthday cake: Milkshake madness swept across my home because of this awesome Strawberry Birthday Cake Shake. Adoria wanted strawberry butterfly cake on her Birthday, and her wish became my command. I did make a large birthday cake for her friends — they loved all of it. And you know whenever there’s a birthday, there’s some leftover cake. Right?
Ideas of using leftover cake: When I saw some generous amount of leftover cake then I asked to myself: “What should I do with that leftover cake? Eat it like that?” Yes, that would have been the best thing. But since we ate so much sweet stuff on Adoria’s Birthday so I assume no one would be really in the mood of eating some more cake.
Cake shake is the right choice: But how about if I make some cake pops? No, that would be too sweet and also heavy too. Mmmm, well, I think a milkshake would be the best thing with this strawberry cake. Really, what’s better than drinking cake? Yeah, nothing. There is nothing better than drinking a cake.
And anyways we cannot eat so much cake, but there is no such thing as so much milkshake. 🙂
Green flags all the way: I approached my family to see if they also wanted to jump onboard with the milkshake craze and they were pretty excited by the sound of ‘Strawberry Cake Shake’.
Abhishek: Sounds so indulging, but how is it gonna be like? What are you adding to it?
Me: It’s a combo of strawberries, strawberry milkshake + strawberry cake + with strawberry ice-cream cone, topped with whipped cream, drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.
Abhishek and Adoria: “Yeah, want this cake shake in our lives right now!” 🙂
This is how 4 – Ingredients Strawberry Cake Shake was born: And that’s how I decided to make some nice milkshake out of the birthday cake. Believe me, the craze of drinking more and more shake has spread in my house after having that 4 – Ingredients Strawberry Cake Shake. And instead of eating any single piece of leftover cake, Daddy and Adoria preferred to drink the cake.
They said: “We pretty much like cake this way, and drinking is effortless too.”
Effortless and full of taste: Taste of cake without much efforts made sense to me! And they drunk the cake shake to the last piece.
Strawberries on my mind: If you like strawberry cake, strawberry ice-cream, strawberry shake, you’re going to love this recipe. Basically, if you love strawberry in any form then you are gonna love it. And if you don’t like strawberries then this is a must try recipe for you, because you never know if you start liking strawberries after drinking this mouth-watering shake! 😉 So try it atleast once before you say NO! I guess, I have excited you enough to try this shake and I hope that you are pretty much convinced now! 🙂
Super easy: This milkshake, or cake shake as I’m calling it, starts with strawberry cake and strawberry ice-cream cone. Yes, I added a cone to it. Trust me, it adds so much texture and flavor to this shake. Add milk and blend blend blend. Once the you’ve blended up the cake and ice cream in your blender, you pour it in the glass and pipe some whipped cream on it, and then drizzle it with chocolate sauce and caramel sauce.
Creamy creamy: I really love all of the textures in this milkshake. There’s the creaminess of the ice cream, which is mixed with the soft cake. Fluffy whipped cream and silky chocolate sauce + caramel sauce to add more layers of flavor, and they are completely necessary. I started drinking this with paper straw and eventually went at my milkshake with a spoon because the slightly thick texture on the bottom screamed to be scooped. And that spoonful of cake shake was delightful. It was seriously miralculous.
No extra sugar: So the final note is that this ridiculously creamy and delicious 4 – Ingredients Strawberry Cake Shake is my favorite milkshake ever! And there is NO EXTRA sugar! COOL! 🙂
