RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» How to Make Strawberry Yogurt Bark

  1. Place 200 grams of fresh strawberries on a chopping board and cut off the leafy top. Quarter or roughly chop them, and keep them aside.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and strawberries to a blender jar. Blend until strawberries are blended and pureed. There should not be any big chunks left.
  3. Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the strawberry yogurt mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.Sprinkle your desired toppings over the mixture. I have used sliced strawberries, chopped white chocolate, and dark chocolate chips. Freeze the mixture for at least 2 hours or until it is firm.
  4. Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer. Discard the parchment paper, and break it into pieces.
  5. Your delicious and healthy homemade Strawberry Greek Yogurt Bark with Chocolate is ready. Enjoy them as a dessert/snack, or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. I topped my bark with strawberries, white chocolate, and dark chocolate. You can also top the mixture with other toppings of your choice such as crunchy cereals, crushed oreo, granola, coconut flakes, and almonds before freezing. It will create a nice texture contrast.
  2. For making strawberry bark using fresh and ripe strawberries it is important to get the sweet flavor.
  3. Using full-fat Greek yogurt is recommended for a creamier and richer bark. However, a low-fat yogurt can is also used here.
