RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» Making Mascarpone Cream Cheese Chocolate Mousse Cups:

  1. Place cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, whipped cream, icing sugar, vanilla extract in a large bowl. Whisk for 4-5 minutes or until smooth.
  2. Melt the milk chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. If you are melting chocolates in the microwave; heat for about 30 seconds, and stir well. Heat for 15 more seconds if needed. Repeat the same to melt the white chocolate.
  3. Divide the cheese mxiture amongst two bowls. Add melted white chocolate to one bowl, and whisk for about a minute or till everything is well combined.
  4. Add melted milk chocolate to another bowl, and whisk for about a minute or till everything is well combined.
  5. Pour the dark layer of chocolate mousse in two large serving glasses and spread the top evenly. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  6. Pour the white layer of chocolate mousse and top evenly.
  7. Cover each glass with plastic wrap and Chill the mousse for 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and serve.
