RECIPE NOTES

  1. Mangoes: For making the best tasting mango flavored lussi, it is best to use mangoes that are fresh, sweet, and ripe. Ripe mangoes give a creamy texture and delicious taste to the mango lussi. You can use any variety of mangoes which are soft to touch, pulpy and juicy. Make sure that the mangoes you are using are non-fibrous. Here, you can use both fresh and frozen mangoes. Mango puree or canned mango pulp can also be used for making this lassi.
  2. Yogurt: Make sure to use the thick yogurt for making this lassi. Using thick yogurt gives Mango flavored lassi a thick and creamy texture. Full cream, Greek yogurt or Hung curd can also be used here.
