» Make Coconut Ladoo Base //

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.
  2. Put desiccated coconut roast for 5 minutes at low heat.
  3. Add the condensed milk and mix thoroughly until all the coconut is coated well with condensed milk.
  4. Add the cardamom powder and mix it thoroughly.
  5. Sauté until the mixture becomes thick or till it starts to leave sides of the pan.
  6. Divide the mixture into three portions.

  1. Take one portion and add saffron soaked in warm milk.
  2. Mix thoroughly and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Transfer it to a bowl and let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.
  4. Grease your palms, take some mixture, and make a round ball out of it.
  5. Roll Saffron Coconut Ladoos in some desiccated coconut. (Repeat steps 3-4 to make remaining laddos.)
  6. Enjoy as an aftermeal dessert.
