» How to Make Grilled Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich

  1. Brush 1 side of 4 bread slices with extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Place 2 of the bread slices facing oil side down on hot grill pan.
  3. Layer mozzarella cheese slices.
  4. Also, add sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, and and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Drizzled with few drops of olive oil and add basil leaves.
  6. Top with the 2 slices of bread.
  7. Brush over the outsides of each sandwich.
  8. Toast the sandwiches until they are golden on the bottom. (Press down with a spatula to flatten sandwich a bit.)
  9. Flip the sandwiches and toast until cheese is melted and golden.
  10. Cut into desired shape and serve.
