» For making Chips Chaat

  1. Arrange the 2 cups of potato chips on a serving plate.
  2. Top with chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumber, and boiled corn kernels, and chopped green chilies.
  3. Drizzle with whisked yogurt, sweet tamarind chutney, mint coriander chutney, and chopped coriander.
  4. Sprinkle with chaat masala powder, black salt, and red chili powder.
  5. Crush 3 tablespoon chips and add them to the plate.
  6. Sprinkle with nylon sev and some chopped coriander leaves. Also, drizzle with lemon juice.
  7. Serve immediately before the chips get soggy.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. For this chips chaat, I didn't want chips? flavors to interfere with chaat flavorings. So I opted for Taffel's salted chips but you can use any of your favorite chips.
  2. For this chaat, I have only used one type of chips, but you can also use a combination of different chips. They would taste great.
  3. Keep the ingredients handy, and when you are planning to serve then only assemble the chips chaat. This way you will prevent it from turning soggy.
