» How to Make Cheesy Blueberry Halwa:

  1. Heat clarified butter (ghee) in a pan. Add semolina to it, and roast on low heat till it turns golden brown.
  2. Now add desiccated coconut and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add hot milk, and pureed blueberries.
  4. Let it cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  5. After that, add cream cheese and mix well. Cook for 5 more minutes.
  6. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir continuously to prevent any lumps.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes or halwa dries.
  8. Remove cheesy blueberry halwa from heat.
  9. Garnish with cashew nuts and desiccated coconut. Serve hot or warm. Enjoy!

RECIPE NOTES

  1. To make the blueberry puree, simply add blueberries to a blender jar and blend until pureed.
  2. You can use both fresh and frozen blueberries for this halwa recipe.
