  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F), or heat a thick-bottomed pan on low heat with a lid. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the buns on a chopping board and slice them in half.
  2. Arrange the halved buns on the lined tray or skillet with the cut side facing up. Evenly spread pizza sauce over each bun half, then top generously with grated mozzarella cheese. Add the bell peppers, chopped onion, mushrooms (optional if you?re including them), cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, and sliced olives.
  3. Sprinkle more cheese on top, followed by mixed herbs and chili flakes. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese melts and turns golden. Broil for 1 minute for a golden top. To cook in a pan, place the bun pizzas in a skillet, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts.
