RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» How to Make Veg Schezwan Noodles:

  1. Boil water along with 1/4 teaspoon salt in a pan.
  2. Add noodles and boil until cooked.
  3. Drain the noodles and add drizzle 1 teaspoon oil.
  4. Toss well and set aside.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan/wok.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon crushed ginger-garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  7. Add onions, carrots, beans, bell pepper, cabbage, and saute on high heat for 2-3 mins.
  8. Add white vinegar, soya sauce, schezwan sauce, and mix well.
  9. Now add the boiled noodles, spring onion greens, ground black pepper, and salt to taste.
  10. Toss everything well.
  11. Garnish Veg Schezwan Noodles with some spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. The key to making the best veg noodles is to stir-fry veggies continuously on high heat this would give a nice smoky flavor to this noodles.
  2. I have made it in a pan, but I would suggest you make it in a wok if you have one because tossing is easy in a wok.
  3. I have used sliced veggies for making these noodles, but you can also chop, shred or julienne your veggies.
