» How to make Papaya Shake

  1. Slice the papaya in half, then scoop out the papaya seeds with a spoon.
  2. Peel and cut into cubes.
  3. Add papaya chunks, chilled milk, rose syrup, sugar, cardamom, and vanilla ice cream to a blender jar.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Add chopped almonds & cashews, tutti frutti, and raisins to the blender. Stir until combined.
  6. Add a dollop of vanilla ice cream to 3 tall or 6 small glasses.
  7. Fill the glasses with the prepared papaya shake.
  8. Drizzle with rose syrup. Then top each glass with chopped nuts, raisins, tutti frutti, and glazed cherry.
  9. Enjoy immediately.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. This recipe makes 3 large or 6 small servings.
  2. You can easily double or triple this papaya shake recipe.
  3. For this papaya shake, you can use freshly cubed or pre-cubed papaya chunks.
  4. For this papaya shake, I would recommend using about a 1:1 ratio of milk and papaya.
  5. If you don't find rose syrup, then you can make your own rose syrup. It's very simple. Or you can replace the rose syrup with rose water or a few drops of rose extract.
