RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» How to Make Chai Truffles

  1. Break Marie biscuits and add them to a blender. Blend well to make a coarse powder. Reserve 2 tablespoons of powder.
  2. Then transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Also, add softened cream cheese, chai masala, and caramel sauce.
  3. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out a small portion of the mixture. Add a roasted hazelnut to the center.
  5. Roll it into a bite-sized truffle ball. Place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Repeat until you make evenly sized, consistent truffles using the rest of the mixture. Place the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Melt it in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  8. Next, add 1/2 teaspoon of chai masala for a more intense chai flavor, and also add the reserved crushed biscuits. Mix well until combined.
  9. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  10. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  11. While the chocolate coating is still soft, you can sprinkle with some more chai masala or dust with cocoa powder for added flavor and decoration. Once all the truffles are coated, place the baking sheet back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes or until the chocolate coating hardens.
  12. Your delicious chai biscuit truffles are ready.
  13. Enjoy these delicious chai truffles with the perfect blend of spiced chai flavors and the richness of caramel. Alternatively, transfer them to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
