» How to Make Stuffing for Cabbage Paratha //

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Once hot, add cumin seeds and asafetida. Let them splutter.
  3. Now, add crushed garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add crushed ginger and saute for 1 more minute.
  5. Now add green peas, shredded cabbage and sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Now add salt, turmeric and sauté for 5-6 minutes or the cabbage is cooked.
  7. Add dried mango powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, and mix well.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes or till the spices are incorporated well. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

  1. Add wheat flour, oil, salt, and mix well.
  2. Now, add enough water and knead well to make a smooth dough.
  3. Apply a little oil to the dough.
  4. Cover with a muslin cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, divide the dough into 8 equal-sized balls and keep aside.

  1. Spread some flour on the counter, and roll out one dough ball into a circle of 4? diameter.
  2. Place 2-3 tbsp mixture in the center of the dough circle.
  3. Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly.
  4. Pinch the top, and press lightly to seal the edges well.
  5. Roll out again into a circle of 6? diameter with the help of some flour.
  6. Heat a pan. Roast rolled paratha from both sides.
  7. Apply a little oil on both sides. Roast until golden brown from both sides.
  8. Transfer cooked paratha to a plate, and repeat with the remaining dough and filling to make more parathas.
