RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» How to Make Baked Pears Goat Cheese Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cut the pears in half lengthwise.
  2. Slice a thin piece off the back of each pear half so they sit flat and steady.
  3. Scoop out the cores to create a cavity.
  4. Chop the walnuts finely so they blend evenly with the cheese.
  5. In a bowl, combine goat cheese, chopped walnuts, ground cinnamon, honey, and a pinch of ground black pepper.
  6. Mix until smooth.
  7. Place the pear halves cut side up on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  8. Fill each pear cavity generously with the prepared filling.
  9. Drizzle with honey and olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
  10. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until pears are tender and lightly caramelized.
  11. Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes.
  12. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. Tastes best when enjoyed fresh.
  2. Use ripe but firm pears for best results.
