RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Air Fryer Banana
- 1 ripe banana
- 1-2 teaspoons softened butter
- 1-2 teaspoons honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1-2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
- 1-2 tablespoons sliced almonds
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» How to Make 3 Ingredient Lemon Ice Cream
- Slice the banana in half lengthwise, leaving the peel attached to make a banana boat.
- Spread butter over both banana halves. Then spread half of the sweetener over both halves and sprinkle them with ground cinnamon.
- Now, spread the peanut butter evenly over both halves. Top with the dark chocolate chips and sliced almonds.
- Drizzle with the remaining sweetener and sprinkle with a little more cinnamon, if desired. Line the air fryer basket with an air fryer liner and carefully place the banana inside.
- Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 6-8 minutes, or until the banana is soft and gooey, the chocolate has melted, and the peanut butter is warm and creamy.
- Serve immediately, straight from the peel, with a spoon.
RECIPE NOTES
- Choose a ripe banana with a few brown spots for the sweetest flavor.
- Spread only a thin layer of softened butter for the best flavor and texture.
- If your banana is very ripe and sweet, then you can skip the added sweetener.
- You can use either salted or unsalted butter.
