Heat clarified butter (ghee) in a pan. Add semolina to it, and roast on low heat till it turns golden brown. Now add desiccated coconut and sauté for 2 minutes.Add hot milk, and pureed blueberries.Let it cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.

After that, add cream cheese and mix well. Cook for 5 more minutes.

Add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir continuously to prevent any lumps.Cook for 3-4 minutes or halwa dries. Remove cheesy blueberry halwa from heat. Garnish with cashew nuts and desiccated coconut. Serve hot. Enjoy!

  • 1/2 cup semolina (rava/suji)
  • 3 tablespoons clarified butter (ghee)
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 cups hot milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream cheese cheese
  • 5 tablespoons sugar, or as per taste
  • 1 cup pureed blueberries
  • 4 tablespoons nuts, chopped (cashew nuts, almonds, and pistachios)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (elaichi powder)

How to Make Cheesy Blueberry Halwa:

  1. To make the blueberry puree, simply add blueberries to a blender jar and blend until pureed.
  2. You can use both fresh and frozen blueberries for this halwa recipe.
